About Amy:
Amy is a law school student, currently in her first year at Roger Williams University School of Law. She is a "mommy" to a rabbit named Stavi and a long-haired cat 15 year old cat named Penny. Stavi lives with her and her sister, Kelly, in their home in Rhode Island, while Penny chose to stay where she grew up, in Maine with Amy and Kelly's parents. Amy has owned many cats, dogs, hampsters, gerbils and even a lizard in the past. She grew up riding horses and living in a home where the chickens were considered family pets!
About Kelly:
Kelly is a behavior specialist/therapist for young children with autism as well as deaf/hard of hearing children. She has her masters degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk University. She is a "mommy" to a cat named Romeo, who chose to stay with his buddy Penny at Kelly and Amy's parents home in Maine. Kelly has owned many cats, dogs, hampsters, lizards and fish in the past. She grew up, like her sister, riding and caring for horses.
About our Home:
In our home, there are only two pets, which you can read about below and meet, if you choose to have us pet sit for you! As for our home, we have a large yard area and plenty of places to take your pet for walks. We love to take day outings to places like Colt State Park and we play ball nightly at the golf course near our home. Because of our condo situation, we must insist that your pet remain on a leash when outdoors at our home. However, since we take frequently trips to different locations, we will often go to locations where unleashed pets are allowed. Please ask us about different situations. We are willing to work with pets who need to remain on a leash outdoors at all times as well, we don't mind!
Our Pet Family:
Stavi (Rabbit): Stavi is a black rabbit who lives in our office in our home. He is very smart and is trained to use a litter area in his cage. He is a big fan of carrots, lettuce, broccoli, and basically anything you are willing to feed him. His favorite toy is a ruler he found on the floor in the office that he likes to throw at people. He is very friendly and will watch tv with you for hours, if you let him. He is also a big fan of trying to eat Amy's law homework! He has no problem with dogs or cats and does not bite.
Harley (Golden Retriever): Harley is a 4 year old Golden Retriever who is up to date on all his shots and is neutered. He has lived with Kelly and Amy for about a year. He is the best friend you could ask for! He's lovable, playful and friendly. His favorite toy is "Bear", who he carries around the house and insists on sleeping with. He has no medical problems and loves other dogs, especially smaller ones. He grew up in Maine with his best friend, Sunny, who was a pug and his other buddy, Mattie, who was a female Golden Retriever. He loves attention and he loves to swim and play ball. He is learning how to walk on a leash, as he did not frequently use one when he was younger.
